AURAS ON CAMERA

Auras can be seen on camera, thanks in part to the inventions of Guy Coggins, head of Progen Aura Imaging. This short clip is taken from a Reconnective Healing session with a fellow named Vy (at Progen Aura Imaging). Watch that white bubble of pulsing energy continue throughout the session.

An aura has been described as the energy field which radiates from all living organisms, and which some people see in the form of a luminous glow of various colors. It may also be revealed by such techniques as Kirlian, or the more advanced Aura Imaging photography.

The shape, color, and strength of the energy field may be affected by a person's emotional, mental, and physical well-being, and some claim to be able to detect dysfunction in the internal organs through analyzing its appearance. It can offer a glimpse into the personality and well-being of a person, and can change throughout life.

Spiritual teachings throughout the various cultures, documented for over 5,000 years, have referred to energies vibrating through all physical matter. Different names for this energy include chi, prana, karnaeem, and illiaster, to cite just a few.

The human energy field is a collection of electromagnetic energies of varying densities that permeate through and emit or exit from the physical body of a living person. These particles of energy are suspended around the healthy human body in an oval shaped field. This "auric egg" emits out from the body on all sides. It extends above the head and below the feet into the ground.

CAPTURING CHANGES

The two volunteers in the video were seated in front of a computer and camera, while their left hand was on an electronic plate containing sensors located at specific acupuncture points of the hand.

Sensors were attached to three of my fingers on my left hand as well. The computer plotted the information from the sensors on both our hands as we watched while the camera captured the fluctuations in the aura during a healing session.

Guy Coggins, the inventor of the Progen Aura Camera, describes his invention as intensified Kirlian imaging based on the electrical impulses of the body. The camera does not actually see auras, but rather, perceives them electronically. The camera transmits radio waves through the subject’s electromagnetic field, and then converts the waves into electrical energy which can be processed as light and color (www.auraphoto.com).

Although many colors can appear in an energy field, usually one color dominates. This rainbow (the aura) around the body consists of different colors representing different meanings. Generally speaking, red reveals passion and leadership ability, orange reflects independence, yellow shows intelligence and humor, green shows compassion and a big heart, blues are peaceful and artistic, purples have vivid imaginations, and white shows intense spirituality.

There is a wealth of information on the web about interpreting energy field colors, and you might find it fun to dig a bit deeper.

In addition to the colors, Guy breaks down the image into three areas. The area to the right of the subject represents the vibrational frequency most likely seen or felt by others around you. The area to the left is normally the vibration coming into your being. The color seen over your head is what you experience for yourself now—the color that best describes you.

Without interpreting the colors of the sessions posted here, what is so fascinating is that this equipment documents the existence of a person’s energy field and clearly shows that it can be influenced by healing. As Sue said to me after another still picture was taken of her post-session, “You changed my aura!” And here is that picture...
