Q & A: RECONNECTIVE HEALING
1. Can you heal ______________ ? I am a channel, or conduit for healing. I do not actually do the healing but I’m a grateful part of the equation. I can neither claim credit, nor take responsibility for what occurs. And the less I know about what you are suffering from, the clearer an instrument I can be for this work. That being said, Reconnective Healing can help with any type of challenge, whether it’s physical, spiritual, mental or emotional (or some combination thereof). Yet there are no guarantees. Three people with cancer might experience three very different healings. If one heals from the cancer and another heals deep emotional wounds, is the healing a failure? Not to my (or my clients') mind. As much as possible, come to this work with excited anticipation, and not with a specific outcome in mind. I certainly understand that you might wish for a particular healing, and if I could wave a magic wand and make it so, I would. But this is an experience that takes place between you and Divine Source, and how it will reveal itself remains to be seen. 2. How much Reconnective Healing will I need? There is a short-term commitment required to see the process through to completion, and for you to enjoy the greatest results. Plan for three healing sessions and then, when you’re ready, move on to the two-day Personal Reconnection (so five sessions at most). If after one healing session you are simply ready for your Reconnection, then of course, that’s what we’ll do. But plan for three healing sessions initially and we’ll course-correct if that makes sense. 3. Can I come back for periodic tune-ups? It really isn’t necessary. Once you receive your Personal Reconnection, the healing continues to unfold over time. It is the gift that keeps on giving! An exception to this might be if something rather significant were to occur down the road that impacts your health, and you feel you'd benefit from another session. 4. How do you do Reconnective Healing from a distance? I either lie down on my healing table or I sit up comfortably with my eyes closed. I begin to focus on the client and within seconds my hands rise up and my palms begin to strongly pulse. Often times, my hands flutter around in interesting ways. The energy stays with me for 40 – 45 minutes, working directly for the client. I usually chat with a client after the session to hear about their experience. The distance healings are very powerful, enjoyable, humbling and awe-inspiring. 5. How does this differ from an in-person session? When someone is on my healing table, I usually begin at their head and feel for the energy there. Then my hands begin to move on their own, pulsing and sometimes fluttering about. I do not touch a client (though sometimes clients feel as if they are being touched). If the energy wanes around a particular body area, I move on and find another area that engages the energy in my hands and holds my attention. I continue for about 45 minutes. I spend time after the end of the session listening to what the client experienced, taking notes, and answering questions. 6. I’m still not clear on the difference between Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection. Can you explain that further? Reconnective Healing is the first step. The energy moves through me as I work with it above and around your body. Dr. Pearl says that there is some small part of reconnecting that begins with the healing sessions, but the focus truly is on healing on all levels. Plan for three healing sessions first, before arranging your Reconnection. Once those three sessions are done, we move on. During your Personal Reconnection, I actually draw lines and calibrate points above and around your body. I use Reconnective Healing energy while doing that, but I follow a particular pattern that is the same for everyone, but tailored to the size of each unique body. Day One begins the process and Day Two seals it. I consider this to be the evolutionary aspect of Reconnective Healing, which allows for the reconnecting of strings and strands and which continues to unfold over your lifetime. There is healing that occurs, but the emphasis is on reconnecting...to ourselves, to the Earth, and to God/Source/Universe. And it encourages the light and the information to flow directly to you. 7. What sort of things will I experience on the table? You might simply feel a deep sense of relaxation and peacefulness. It’s possible that you’ll “go under” almost immediately. Some people appear to be sleeping with all the traits of taking a nap (snoring and snuffling sounds, rapid eye movement, etc.) and yet, they tell me that they were still aware of what was going on in the room. Falling asleep doesn't stop the healing, but your experience of it will be different than if you're alert. Indicators of healing (the registers) can be very dramatic at times and at others, almost nonexistent. Twitching, breathing fluctuations, varied body movement, swallowing, stomach gurgling, visual experiences, changes in taste, hearing things, smelling things, feeling unusual sensations and much more have been reported by my clients. But here’s the thing: more dramatic registers do not necessarily equate to more dramatic healing. So please be open to what may come. 8. If I don’t experience a healing while I’m on the table, will healing take place at some other time? Usually within a short period of time following the session, you will begin to notice certain shifts. Pay attention to how you feel, whether you’re responding to things differently, whether in any area of your life you are finding more ease and less stress. Shifts might be blatantly obvious, and they can be subtle and still profound. They may come in surprising ways. 9. What if I don’t feel anything after the first session? Am I unable to heal? And if I do experience healing, will it last? The sessions tend to build on each other. Don't give up...see the process through. Everyone deserves a healing and I believe that everyone receives one. It's often during the third session where the healing really takes hold. The healings do tend to last. As mentioned, what you experience will change and evolve over time. Deeper and deeper healing is possible as the reconnecting of the strings and strands continues. 10. Is this for real? I’m a bit afraid. This is healing and love from God—it is Divine. There is nothing to fear and yet I understand that change can be a challenge to incorporate. We change with grace, or we go kicking and screaming along the way. It's up to us. This healing work is real, it's wonderful, and it can transform lives. Miracles do happen...I see them every day.
