RECONNECTIVE HEALING

Reconnective Healing^® is believed to activate an all-inclusive spectrum of frequencies that transcend "energy healing" and "technique" to access a level of harmony beyond anything that's been available until now. Reconnective Healing connects us to the fullness of the Universe as it reconnects us to the fullness of our being and who we are, not just through a new set of healing frequencies, but possibly through an entirely new bandwidth. The existence of these frequencies has clearly demonstrated itself in practice as well as in science laboratories.

HEALING DEFINED

Healing happens when there is communication. It is sometimes equated with a medical cure, but the concept of healing is actually broader than that. "Healing, which may or may not encompass physical cure, is the process of positive, empowering, and progressive reconciliation and transformation in a person's relationship to his reality, condition, history, and circumstance, inclusive of any diseases. Healing refers to positive change in the impact of disease on a person's life, feelings, consciousness, decisions, and actions. In healing, a person's experience of disease, and the effects of disease on the body and mind, change for the better, whether or not physical cure is affected." (Dr. Beverly Potter and Dan Joy)

Healing can manifest in many different forms, and not just the physical. Your mind may become more peaceful; you might begin to relate differently to family members or friends, experiencing more love, forgiveness and acceptance; you might enjoy a deeper spiritual connection; and yes, on the physical side, perhaps the disease that's challenged you transforms into vibrant health; or your experience of the pain may ease, enabling you to feel more joy; or you may simply be ready to leave your body, knowing that God is with you and that your loved ones will be OK.

Not everyone who comes with a particular diagnosis or challenge will experience the healing they desire. Results are uniquely individual and as Dr. Pearl likes to say, we practitioners can neither take credit for a healing nor claim responsibility for one. We are fortunate to be a part of the equation, but we don't actually do the healing. We're more the conduit for it and you and God can be trusted to work out the details.

Every health challenge is a combination of the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional. We simply classify it according to its predominate characteristic. But Reconnective Healing doesn’t specifically “treat” anything and a Reconnective Healer does not diagnose. At the end of his book Dr. Pearl says, “Some things are difficult to explain; miracles speak for themselves.”

That being said, those of you with a more scientific bent are encouraged to learn more about quantum physics and healing and to discover all the research that's taking place.

HELPFUL TERMS & DEFINITIONS

axiatonal lines – an evolved form of acupuncture meridian lines which connect to the planetary energy grid, and the entire Universe; they are not confined to space-time as we know it, but are open-ended, and accumulate energy from extra-dimensional realities; they are vibratory lines

bandwidth – range of frequencies within a radiation band required to transmit a particular signal

channeling – in spiritualism, to serve as a medium for (a spirit); the process by which a person becomes a conduit for a deceased person, as someone from an ancient culture who imparts information about a previous life

Ch’i – the activating energy of the Universe; the bridge between our body and consciousness; it holds the organs, glands, blood vessels, and other bodily parts in place

DNA – deoxyribonucleic acid, a nucleic acid, which is a substance in the nucleus of a cell; DNA is shaped like a double helix (a ladder twisted into a spiral); common thinking says that humans contain two strands of DNA; quantum physicians have theorized that we may, in fact, have originally had as many as 12 or more; the implication is that rather than continuing to evolve forward in a near linear fashion, the human race will benefit by simultaneously reaching back in time and bringing forward certain aspects from when we were a more complete people

frequency – the number of periodic oscillations, vibrations, or waves per unit of time; usually expressed in hertz

magnetic grid – the magnetic system of the Earth, sometimes known as ley lines that link the planet; has been referred to as the DNA delivery engine

meridians – in Chinese acupuncture, there are 12 main meridians or pathways along which positive and negative energy travels in the human body, and which carries on some of the communication between the various parts of human beings; this so-called Ch’i energy enters the body through 500 specific acupuncture points that have unique electro-magnetic characteristics

quantum physics or mechanics – branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta; the physics of the incredibly small; how electrons surround the nucleus of the atom and other subatomic actions

registers – involuntary physical or physiological responses to the frequencies; the more common ones include rapid eye movement, breathing changes, swallowing, tears, laughter, finger movements, head rotation, body movements, and stomach gurgling

strings – simultaneously occurring parallel planes of existence; string theory is a way of looking at the building blocks of matter and energy; the most fundamental particles in the universe have been described as loops of “string” that vibrate at specific frequencies

strands – science has taught that in every DNA molecule in the human body, there are two strands—the basis of our genetic code or blueprint; see definition of DNA

vibration – a periodic to-and-fro motion or oscillation of an object; everything in the universe consists of vibrations occurring at different frequencies

QUANTUM PHYSICS

Quantum physics, sometimes called quantum mechanics, is the "branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta; the physics of the incredibly small; how electrons surround the nucleus of the atom and other subatomic actions." Quantum healing is being researched by some of the great scientific minds of our time, in an effort to explain just why and how Reconnective Healing works.

In the foreword to the book The Reconnection, Drs. Gary Schwartz and Linda Russek discuss some of the research that has taken place at the University of Arizona regarding Reconnective Healing and quantum physics. Devoted to the integration of mind-body medicine, energy medicine and spiritual medicine, the motto at the Human Energy Systems Laboratory is: “If it is real, it will be revealed; and if it is a fake, we’ll catch the mistake.” More research from the University of Arizona is currently underway and some of it is specific to what happens during Reconnective Healing. Dr. Gary Schwartz and Dr. William Tiller (Professor Emeritus from Stanford) are both involved in looking at the effect of Reconnective Healing.

J.J. Hurtak’s The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch (especially Chapter 3.1.7), while a challenge to read, offers wonderful affirmation of the role of physics in healing and speaks specifically about Reconnection. Lynne McTaggart’s The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe, does this as well and might be an easier read.

Sometimes films can best help us explore what happens during healing, plus they're fun to watch. ”What the Bleep Do We Know?” and its sequel “Down the Rabbit Hole” have piqued interest in quantum physics and healing and made them commonplace topics of discussion. More recently, "The Secret" presents the views of scientists and philosphers in "whodunit" fashion. And for in-depth audio discussion, "Dr. Quantum Presents a User's Guide to Your Universe" offers a wealth of information on 6 CDs, from Dr. Fred Alan Wolf, the physicist. More recently, "The Living Matrix" specifically features Reconnective Healing and tells the wonderful story of a young boy's miraculous result of a brief session with Dr. Pearl.

What is Enlightenment and Ode magazines have regular articles on the subject, as do others. The Kryon books from Lee Carroll deal extensively with the realignment of the planet’s magnetic grids and there are numerous other authors who are shedding light on new discoveries in quantum mechanics.
